What To Wear When Disney Bound

Filed Under: Fashion, Travel Tagged With: Alice in Wonderland, Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Disney, Disney Bound, Fashion, Moana, Outfits, Polyvore, Toy Story

For Spring Break my family and I are going to Disney World so I decided to create some Disney inspired outfits for the trip. I love taking pictures at Disney so what’s better than dressing as your favorite character and posing with them?

Belle

My first outfit is inspired my favorite Disney Princess, Belle. For the shoes, I chose a pair of white Nike tennis shoes. When at Disney you walk a lot. A pair of Nike shoes can prevent shin splintsĀ and make your steps a lot more comfortable when walking miles all day.

I always take my camera and a water bottle, so I usually bring a small backpack to hold all of my things when riding rides.

Moana

Moana was one of my favorite outfits to create. For this outfit, I added a Hawaiian style phone case to tie the outfit together.

Ariel

According to my sister, you can’t go to Disney without an Ariel inspired outfit. The Little Mermaid is one of my sister’s favorite Disney movies. The bag I chose for this outfit is my favorite thing about it. A Flounder shaped purse! Tell me that’s not the cutest thing in the world.

Cinderella

No Dinsey outfit collection is complete without a Cinderella-inspired outfit. I chose just a solid blue T-Shirt with some white lace cotton shorts. It’s still stylish for photos but comfortable enough to walk around the park and go on rides.

Buzz Lightyear

I chose to make a Buzz-inspired outfit since most people usually make outfits inspired by the princesses. Toy Story is a big favorite in our household and I always loved Buzz. So I decided he deserved an outfit inspired by him.

Alice

Alice in Wonderland has always been one of my favorite Disney movies. Heck, I even had a Wonderland themed Sweet 16. Of course, only I was allowed to be Alice. Hahaha. This outfit is one of the more simpler ones. I chose a nice blue summer dress with black low top Vans. Alice is a simple girl so I didn’t want to overpower the outfit.

You could add a black ribbon to tie back your hair and stay cool.

Jessie

Jessie was the best cowgirl ever when I was growing up. I wanted to be just like her. Since these outfits are Disney Bound inspired I did not add boots to this look. Instead, I chose a nice brown flip-flop that way your feet aren’t killing you by the end of the day trying to walk in boots.

Which Disney character would you make an outfit inspired by?
