Max Irons, Jake Abel, and Chandler Canterbury Interview

15 Mar

On Tuesday I got the chance to interview Max Irons, Jake Abel, and Chandler Canterbury for their upcoming movie The Host. Before we went into the room to interview them, heck even the night before, I was so nervous! I have found out that I get star struck pretty easy and I was afraid I was going to say the wrong thing. I only got to ask one question though because there were other press in the room. In the video of the interview which is MommaDJane’s you can hear me ask my question at 13:47. (But you should watch the whole thing) Even though I liked both Max and Jake’s answer to my question I have to say I liked Max’s a little more because it was funny.

After the interview we went to Barnes & Noble where I got the chance to not only get the three actors’ autographs but I got to meet the amazing Stephenie Meyer and get her autograph as well!

Now for people who don’t know me really well may not know that Stephenie and the Twilight Saga is why I started reading so much. Twilight was the first full novel that I had read all the way through. So meeting her was a major dream come true for me. I got all four of them to sign the inside cover of my Nook since that is where I bought The Host. The funny thing is that Jake and Max started to scroll through my Nook reading list. Since I had my Nook turned on with The Host loaded on the front, Jake almost autographed the screen because he saw the movie picture on it which was becoming habit for him to sign! He just laughed and was like “well you would have had a new Nook by the end of the day”.  Awesome experience, I think yes! :)

Don’t forget to pre-order your tickets for The Host coming out March 29, 2013.

Hollywood Walk of Fame

01 Feb

Yesterday I got to go see the Hollywood Walk of Fame for the very first time ever! I got to put my feet in the stars foot prints! The best thing about that is that I got to put my feet and hands in the prints of Robert Pattinson and Emma Watson! My mom got to put her hands in the prints of the Twilight cast when she was here for the Breaking Dawn Part 2 premiere and I have wanted to do it since I saw the pictures.

I also got to see the Hollywood sign which is on my life list! I was really excited to get to see it but I was sad because we didn’t realize that they don’t let you go up the mountain after sunset so we didn’t get to see it up close.

Breaking Dawn Part 2 Soundtrack

04 Oct

They finally announced the songs for the Breaking Dawn Part 2 soundtrack! I have every Twilight Saga soundtrack thus far on my iPhone. I don’t know who picks the songs for the movie but they should get an award for it because they always pick some of the best music.

They also released the final poster for Breaking Dawn Part 2.

I think that this is going to be the best album yet although I am sad that Paramore does not have a song in this one.  Christina Perry made a part two for her song, A Thousand Years. I think the song that I am looking forward to hearing the most is All I’ve Ever Needed by: Paul McDonald and Nikki Reed! I had no clue that Nikki Reed even sang so I am super excited to find out that she not only sings but has a song on this album.

Now all we have to do is wait until we can listen to the soundtrack on November 13, 2012!   :)

Pitch Perfect

27 Sep

The movie Pitch Perfect was by far the funniest movie that I have seen in a long time. I was laughing so hard at parts that my mom had to tell me to be quiet. One thing that I thought was cool about the movie was when they took modern day music and sung it in their a cappella group. I think my favorite part of the movie was when Becca auditions for The Bellas because I just love how she sang.

The character that I liked the best was Fat Amy since she was absolutely hilarious. The movie is a good mother/daughter movie and you will for sure like it if you like comedy. The movie does have a few inappropriate parts in it so I would not recommend to take little kids and see it.

One thing that was cool about seeing the movie was seeing Anna Kendrick as the main star. The first time I have ever seen her act was in the Twilight Saga as, Jessica, Bella’s classmate. Her part in Pitch Perfect is so different from Twilight.

Get prepared on October 5th you will officially be able to see the movie! :)

06 Sep

Here it is… the last trailer for Breaking Dawn Part 2!! I have to admit this is the very best trailer yet and it has got me even more excited to see the movie. The trailer was amazing because it shows a lot of Bella being a vampire and more of her transition.

The Hillywood Show Breaking Dawn Parody

15 May

The Hillywood Show has always made the best parodies but their Breaking Dawn Part 1 is their best parody yet, in my opinion. One of the best parts about the parody is how great they did on the make-up and effects of the birth scene when Bella looked really bad. The costumes match the movie perfectly too.  The parody is really funny because at one point they have Jacob marrying Bella and him acting like a complete idiot. Hahahaha!

I love the Hillywood Show so much and they are such nice girls! I am hoping to get a chance to meet them for the third time this year.
