Good-Bye Middle School: End of the Year Questions

18 Jun

The last day of school this year was the last day of Middle School for me and my friends. So I decided to ask two of my friends questions about the past year and the up coming year of High School. I was really sad that my last year of Middle School was ending because I’m going to a different High School than all of my other friends. This year was amazing. I got to be the Girls Color Guard Commander for JCC, I was Co-Editor in Chief for the year book, and I just had such an amazing year!

What was the best part of the school year for you?

Diane – “Well.. when we were in English class, and Dane had his toe shoes on, and I said “Ahh, Dane you have fish feet…. wait.. fish don’t have feet, so your a duck!”

T- “The best part of the year for me would have to be when my color guard team won second place at the second competition of the year”

What is one thing that you are looking forward to in high school?

Ashley – I can’t wait to start color guard for real in high school and I can’t wait to see all my friends I haven’t seen in forever.”

T- “I’m looking forward to being in the medical program.”

Who was your favorite teacher this year and why?

Ashley – “My favorite teacher this year was no doubt Coach Roberts. He was really funny and yearbook class was great. The yearbook turned out really good too.”

T- “My favorite teacher this year was my JCC instructor Petty Officer Simon she was such an amazing teacher/ instructor.”

Summer Kick Off

04 Jun

To kick off my summer vacation I went to my best friend’s birthday pool party! I had such an amazing time and the weather was perfect to swim. The most fun thing about swimming was the big inflatable chair that we all kept jumping on and sitting on. At one point we fit all 10 of us on it. We ended up flipping it over though. :)

We had so much fun swimming and yes that girl making the face is the birthday girl! Hahahaha I loved Lindsay’s cake it was so funny!

Us girls stayed the night. We had so much fun. We did face masks and jumped on the trampoline until around 5:00 in the morning.

All in all it was a great way to kick off my summer vacation! :)

Summer Teal – Polyvore Fashion

18 Mar

Polyvore is a great website that lets you create fun outfit collages. It lets you plan out your outfit piece by piece and find items that fit your budget. I created my first look with the theme of summer and my main color was teal. The website is really cool and addicting, you could play on it for hours at a time and have tons of outfits!

What I like about the outfit I created is that every item is under $50, so teens can afford the look. The items are versatile so they can be paired with other outfits.  Below the collage there is a picture of each item, if you click on one you will get the price and information about it.  The process to create a Polyvore board is really easy. They even have a how to video on the home page of the website that shows you just what to do.

Spring Break – Swimming Fun

15 Mar

Today, for fun we checked into a hotel to go swimming. It had an indoor pool so the water wasn’t cold. I had so much fun doing cannonballs in the water and hanging out with my brother and sister.

On the bottom of the pool there was a tile shark. Which was kinda scary when your swimming and you look down and you see it. There was also a hot tub and when you put on the jets it made bubbles. The bubbles were so intense my mom thought that someone put soap in it at one point.

Sonic Drive in Flavor 1 and 2 of 398,929

29 May

You know how Sonic is always advertising that they have 398,929 different flavor’s of drinks. Well I have taken on the challenge to see how many flavors I can try by the end of the summer. Now obviously I’m not going to be able to try every flavor but I want to try as many as I can.

The flavors that I tried in the two videos below are Chocolate Dr.Pepper and Blue Coconut Dr.Pepper. I did like the Chocolate Dr.Pepper but I will probable not order it ever again. The Blue Coconut Dr.Pepper was not my favorite, actually I did not like that one at all.

I will have more videos for everyone to see but in the mean time what unique flavor do you want to see me try next?

Mabel’s Labels Review

20 May

For sibling camp I got a set of labels from Mabel’s Labels to use on all my personal belongings. They are awesome labels because the ones that go on my cloths stay in when I wear them. I even washed my cloths and they stayed on and intact!!

I think it’s really cool that the labels have my name printed on every single one. :) I put the labels on every thing I took to camp including cloths, shoes, tooth paste, ect. The labels come in all sizes like round, square, and rectangle. I used the round ones for my shoes, the square ones for my cloths because they are small, and the rectangle for my tooth paste and other stuff because they are big and easy to see.

I got the Colourful Essentials Combo labels. The labels are great for anything you can think of. Especially for summer coming up which is a great thing for kids or families who are traveling together.

Full Disclosure: I received a Colourful Essentials Combo package of Mabel’s Labels complimentary to review.  All opinions are 100% mine.
