The Croods is the new family friendly movie coming out March 22nd in 3D. The Croods is about a cavemen family. The movie is about how this family lives by the motto “New is always bad never NOT be afraid”. But when their whole world changes they are forced to try new things. Along the way they meet Guy (voice of Ryan Reynolds) who is not a caveman and who has all these ideas and inventions, he is more like a nomad. They believe the world is ending, literally caving in, so Guy and the Croods set out to follow the sun. The big problem with Guy is that all of the Croods besides the father Grug (voice of Nicolas Cage) like him and his ideas better. Which causes a big problem when Grug’s rebellious teenage daughter Eep (voice of Emma Stone) falls in love with Guy.

I loved this movie a lot – the animation, the story line, the characters – every thing was amazing about it. Plus, I even cried a little bit so you know it’s a good movie if I cry. This is a great movie for all ages young and old and a great movie to go watch as a family. Check out my other post of my interview from the directors of the movie if you want to know a little bit about the ideas behind the movie.

Go watch The Croods in theaters March 22, 2013!

Mabel’s Labels Review

20 May

For sibling camp I got a set of labels from Mabel’s Labels to use on all my personal belongings. They are awesome labels because the ones that go on my cloths stay in when I wear them. I even washed my cloths and they stayed on and intact!!

I think it’s really cool that the labels have my name printed on every single one. :) I put the labels on every thing I took to camp including cloths, shoes, tooth paste, ect. The labels come in all sizes like round, square, and rectangle. I used the round ones for my shoes, the square ones for my cloths because they are small, and the rectangle for my tooth paste and other stuff because they are big and easy to see.

I got the Colourful Essentials Combo labels. The labels are great for anything you can think of. Especially for summer coming up which is a great thing for kids or families who are traveling together.

Full Disclosure: I received a Colourful Essentials Combo package of Mabel’s Labels complimentary to review.  All opinions are 100% mine.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios was so cool, I loved it! They had the candy shop and the joke shop from the movies and books. They even had Olivanders wand store! I didn’t get anything from the joke shop but I did get a Chocolate Frog from the candy store.

The main ride was amazing. It was the best simulator ride that I have ever been on. One of the reasons why is because it is not just a screen all the time, there are parts where you go into rooms and they have objects jump out to make the ride more real. It is the best ride for the family of all ages I think, if the kids are not afraid of the dark. It is also a good ride for grandparents even if they have bad backs or neck problems where they can’t be jerked a lot because it is so smooth they will not have any problems, my Nana rode it. The ride was so cool it makes you feel like you are riding on a broom and as you are going through it has clips from all the movies so far.
