Iron Queen is the 3rd book in the Iron Fey series and another great book of Julie Kagawa’s. When we left her, Meghan Chase – the main character, and the Ice Prince, Ash, had been banished from the Nevernever forever. But will that forever actually last forever?? Now Meghan has a choice to stay in the real world with Ash or save Nevernever by defeating the False King… Meghan Chase turns 17 years old during Iron Queen although when she is in the Nevernever she is suspended in time and don’t truly age.

The Iron Fey series are mythological novels geared towards teens. I started the first book in the series last year and was very excited to read the third book that was just released. I would personally recommend this book to any of my friends and if you love stories about fictional worlds then you would truly enjoy this series.
In the first two books I felt like the story was going in one direction but in Iron Queen it took a whole new route. I have mixed emotions with the ending of the book mainly because I don’t know whats going to happen next. By the title of the book I thought that the False King was going to have a wife, the Iron Queen, that Meghan would have to face but instead the story took a whole different path. The twists and turns has me filled with suspense and surprise. The ending is definitely keeping me on my toes for the forth in the series to come out. The next book coming soon is called the Iron Knight, Ash’s story.
Have you read any of the Iron Fey series? What are your thoughts? I love to hear what other people are reading and I am always open for book suggestions. I love to read!
Full Disclosure: I received a copy of Iron Queen to review, all opinions are 100% mine.
