Become a heart surgeon

06 Mar

Becoming a heart surgeon is number 15 on my life list. This is something that I have always wanted to do my whole life, but now as I get older it has changed some. I still want to be a heart surgeon, but now I want to be a surgeon in the Marines. The reason is because I think I could do more being a Surgeon in the Marines than just being a surgeon at a hospital. I want to be in the Marines and serve for our country but I want to do it by helping the men and women who are fighting for it. Being in JCC {Junior Cadet Corps} has really opened up a whole new path for me to take. I don’t think I could ever fight in the war, but being a surgeon is good enough for me.

Do you know anyone in the Marines? Or are you a Veteran? I would love to know.

Become a Camp Counselor

27 Feb

Become a camp counselor at El Tesoro is number 12 on my life list and a very important one to me. I love camp El Tesoro, it is the best camp ever. I go almost every summer for one full week. It is so fun because you get to do all kinds of adventurous things and each week of the summer they have different themes. I have painted horses, went horse back riding, row in a boat, gone fishing, learned camp fire songs and had a blast while attending camp.

I think it would be the coolest thing to be a camp counselor because when you are a kid you always have a blast. When I get to that age when I can no longer go to camp as a camper I want to be a counselor and make kids’ summers the best ever just like my old counselors did for me.

The two pictures below are really old pictures of me at camp.

My first year at camp in 2004 when I was not quite 7 years old.

Me at camp during Birthday Bash week in 2008.  I was almost 11 in this photo.

New Year!! With 2011 Resolutions

05 Jan

Toasting 2011 with Grape Sparkling Juice

Well its a new year already.. DANG!! Did 2010 go by fast or what?  Now half the year of school is over and TAKS tests are just around the corner.

One of my New Year’s resolutions is that I will blog at least 3 times a week. I know my mom blogs several days a week but I am just really starting to blog for real and I can only do 3 times.

One thing I hate about a new year, and this is pretty funny, is that by the end of last year I was just used to writing 2010 on my school papers. So now that the new year has come along it will take me forever to remember not to put the previous year on my paper and put 2011 instead.

Another New Year’s resolution is to add on to my book list. I want to read more than 100 books by next year just because on my life list I want to read at least 1000 books, maybe even more if possible.  I’ve currently read 51 novels.

The last one of my New Year’s resolutions is the one that I think a lot of people put on theirs…. to eat healthy.  I say this because I can eat and eat and it is bad at my age for me to do that.

Now that you have heard my New Year resolutions, what are some of yours?
