During this year I have taken pictures of football, volleyball, basketball, and soccer. Out of the four sports I like shooting soccer the most. One of the requirements to shoot sports for my yearbook is that a picture is useless if it doesn’t have a ball in it. Which makes shooting sports extra challenging.
Making sure both subjects: the player and the ball are in focus is difficult since they move at different speeds. That’s why I have learned to shoot on continuous when taking pictures at sporting events.

While shooting the freshman boys soccer I used a 2.8 lens. I had to stand on the right hand side of the field because the sun was beaming down causing a glare on the photos.
