Since I’ve been working out and eating healthy, I have been making smoothies to drink for breakfast and as a healthier choice snack. I come up with my own blends to make a quick and easy smoothie recipe.
Quick Smoothie Recipe
I always like to add baby spinach to my smoothies to provide some greens in my diet. Don’t worry if you don’t like spinach you can’t really taste it, but it’s always good to add a vegetable in.
When mixing the ingredients into my blender I add my base liquid first.
Once you have all the ingredients in your blender you can mix it until you feel like it’s smooth enough.
This recipe I used coconut milk which has a much stronger flavor than my usual almond milk. I prefer to make my smoothies dairy-free if possible so it is lighter on the stomach. Raspberries are my favorite but you can use any fresh or frozen fruit you like.
