Being a college student, working part time, blogging, and working out makes life a little hectic. That’s why I’ve started a bullet journal. A way to keep me organized on the go, since a bullet journal is basically a notebook full of lists.
How to Color Code your Bullet Journal
No matter if I’m using my planner or my bullet journal I like to keep a color coding system. For my bullet journal I like to log my pens on a page. I title the page the name of the pens and then go down the page using each pen. That way I can see the way each pen writes. My favorite pens to use are the Pilot G2 Pens, they have smooth gel ink when you write and a comfortable grip.
To organize my week using my bullet journal I break up the week by placing two days per page. To separate the days of the week I use washi tape, since my bullet journal has lines I just count to the middle and apply the tape.
Since the Pilot G2 Pens come in 15 vibrant colors it gives me multiple options to choose from when deciding which colors will go with each subject. You will want to have each thing a different color that way they stand out instead of it all looking the same.
When filling out my tasks for the week I list them with boxes, that way when I complete a task I can fill it in. So at the end of the week I can see what I did and did not get done.
When shopping for supplies for my bullet journal I shop at Target for their wide variety of Pilot G2 pens. There are multiple Pilot G2 Pen options to customize your writing experience – G2 Premium, G2 Fashion Collection, and G2 Metallics. The G2 Premium pens are my favorite to use when planning and journaling.
