For the second week of the countdown to Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes in Grindelwald, I created a movie night snack inspired by Harry Potter’s cake from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Make this simple Harry Potter Movie Night Snack.
What You Need
- Popcorn
- Chex Mix
- White Chocolate/Almond Bark
- Food Coloring
- Sheet Tray
- Wax Paper
You want to mix the popcorn and Chex Mix first before melting the chocolate. Once you have the snack mixed you want to lay it out on a sheet tray. I picked white chocolate so that I could use food coloring to turn it pink like the icing on Harry Potter’s cake. I used red food coloring to get the pink color that I got.
Once you have the chocolate melted you want to hurry and pour it over the snack mix before the chocolate cools. Having the mix laying out on the tray will ensure that you get the chocolate spread across your movie night snack.
Check out these awesome Harry Potter Lunchbox Notes from Life. Family. Joy along with Harry Potter Spider Luminaries from Christy’s Cozy Corners. They are both taking part in the countdown to the new movie.
