Until July 31st the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden will be displaying the ZimSculpt exhibit. Which consists of over 100 contemporary Zimbabwean stone sculptures that is appearing in the southern U.S. for the first time.
Visitors may purchase any of the sculptures on display in the garden. They also have onsite artists creating sculptures that you can purchase in The Marketplace. The Marketplace will be open to guests seven days a week, and on Wednesday evenings, selling sculptures of all sizes. Commissioned pieces can be ordered and made onsite by the artists.
My favorite sculpture of the exhibit is a white stone elephant called the Bull Elephant priced at $32,200, being the second most expensive sculpture of the show.
Not only will you get to see the the amazing sculptures throughout the gardens, but there are beautiful flowers in bloom. Perfect for photo opportunities for family, prom, and graduation.
What is your favorite sculpture from the exhibit?
