Breaking Dawn Part 1 Review

It all started with the movie Twilight, getting everyone hooked into this imaginary world of Vampires and Werewolves. Before Breaking Dawn Part 1 came out everyone said that Eclipse was the best movie out of the Twilight Saga to date and that was true… But the moment I watched the midnight showing of Breaking Dawn Part 1 I instantly knew it had become the best movie out of the four. I absolutely loved the movie!

My favorite part in the movie was the wedding scene, it happened just like I imagined. I will say that I was a little disappointed with Bella’s wedding dress. I expected something a little different and more like the book described.

I was on pins and needles the whole time because I never wanted the movie to end.  I said the wedding scene was my favorite part in the movie, but my second favorite was when Edward was able to read the baby’s thoughts even while it was in Bella’s belly. That was one scene that they absolutely nailed. I am not sure how exactly they are going to do Part 2 because there is so much left. Part 1 did end up ending at the exact point I told my mom it would. I am sad though that I was right because I wish it would have gone farther. I know I am going to be counting the days until Breaking Dawn Part 2 comes out next November.

Breaking Dawn Part One comes out November 18 of this year, which is only four months away! I’m excited to see the movie and how they split it the last book up into two parts. I’m sad that the movies are coming to an end because I don’t want it to be over. Here is the trailer for Breaking Dawn Part One. Enjoy!

I told you all about Twilight and now its time for New Moon. Honestly the book made me want to cry in some parts because my favorite character and vampire, Edward Cullen, leaves Bella because he thinks it’s for her own safety. Leaving was the worst thing he could ever do. When Edward leaves, Bella goes into this sort of depressed state and she is in it for months. When she snaps out of it she finds out that she can hear Edward’s voice if she does stupid and reckless stuff.

Bella goes to her old friend, Jacob Black, who happens to be good at working on motorcycles. She takes him two motorcycles to fix up so they can ride together. This is one of her reckless acts to see Edward. But even though Edward is gone he is not the only person with a dark secret. Bella soon finds out that Jacob is a werewolf. The reason the werewolves have been changing again is because vampires are their enemies. Soon Bella finds that out.

When Bella decides that riding motorcycles is not enough to see Edward she goes cliff diving. Edwards vampire sister, Alice, can see visions of the future and she sees Bella jump off the cliff but believes that Bella is trying to kill herself. Alice tells Rosalie about what she saw in her vision and Rosalie tells Edward that Bella is dead. Edward decides that if Bella is dead then he wants to be as well, so he goes to the Volturi and asks them to kill him.

When Alice sees that the Volturi won’t voluntarily kill Edward and that he plans to make them mad enough so that they will, she goes back to Forks, Washington to tell Bella to stop him. When Bella finds out what is going on she goes to help which makes Jacob mad since he is in love with her and she is choosing Edward, his enemy. Bella arrives in Italy just in time to stop Edward right before he shows himself in the sun to humans.

The Cullens and Bella are made to meet with the Volturi who want to kill Bella because she knows too much about vampires. Alice promises them that Bella will be changed into a vampire very soon. Of course after they get back home Edward says that he will not let Bella be turned so she calls it to a vote with the whole Cullen family and of course they choose to turn her in order to save Edward.

Now the only problem is the treaty with the werewolves. If the Cullens turn Bella they break the treaty to not bite a human and that means war. Jacob tells Bella that he will not let her be changed into a vampire. If she does he will be forced to kill her. At the very end Edward asks Bella TO MARRY HIM!!! Will she say yes or will she say no???

Project We – Blue

For Project We this week the subject is Blue. So I decided to use a picture of me entering a movie theater wearing a blue shirt in Port Angeles, Washington. The movie theater is where they filmed the scenes in New Moon! I got to go see Eclipse for the second time in that theater and it was so cool. I mean I got to actually touch the door where Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner touched it. (SO COOL)! The theater was really neat because it was not like any I have been in, in Texas at least. It was small and to get up to the theater you go up stairs. Although I had scene Eclipse before but it was an amazing experiences to see it in Port Angeles and in the very theater that they used to shoot scenes of  New Moon. This visit was part of my Twilight Saga tour trip to Forks, Washington for my 13th birthday.

Twilight Book Review

I have written a lot about the Twilight Saga but I haven’t actually written about the book Twilight.  I LOVED the book. The action and romance all in one was great!  When I read this book I automatically became Team Edward. Stephenie Meyer is my favorite author, her books are the reason I got hooked on reading so much.  The book has both action and romance which I love, but even better it has VAMPIRES!  In the book, Bella Swan moves to Forks, Washington to live with her dad.  That is when she falls in love with the mysterious Edward Cullen who has a scary secret.  To Edward, Bella’s blood is more alluring than any human he has ever smelled before.

When I started reading Twilight I could not put it down, actually I fell asleep with it on top of my face one night and my mom had to come in my room to close the book and turn off my light.  It took me a total of one and a half days to finish it. When I told my mom I had finished the book she didn’t believe me at first.  She even got a Q&A and tested me to make sure that I really read it that fast… guess what, I got a 100%.  :)

The Hillywood Show

I got to meet The Hillywood Show cast at the Official Twilight Convention which was really cool. They make parodies of movies and what they became famous for is making the Twilight parody. They were also the hosts of the Twilight Convention I attended in November 2010. I got to meet all of them, get a signed picture of them and bought all of the Twilight Saga parodies on DVD which they also signed.

Now let me tell you… if you have not seen the Hillywood parodies of Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse and you are a Twilight fan then you are missing out because they are really funny.  I love them!  You can see all three parodies on the Hillywood You Tube page. You can also see other videos and parodies by them.

The picture is signed by The Hillywood Show cast.  The parodies are all filmed by the cast themselves. They were even at the Twilight Vampire Ball during the Convention hanging out and letting everyone take pictures with them. Both of the girls had on really pretty dresses.  They also taught us a dance.  So much fun!  Something funny that I found out is that the actor who plays Edward, his real name is Jacob.

Official Twilight Convention DFW

For my Christmas present this year my mom took me to the Official Twilight Convention.  Now let me tell you, it was the best Christmas present ever! I got to meet Peter Facinelli aka Carlisle Cullen, Jodelle Ferland aka Bree Tanner,  Bronson Pelletier aka Jared of the wolf pack, Kiowa Gordon aka Embry also of the wolf pack, Christopher Heyerdahl aka Marcus of the Volturi, and last but not least The Hillywood Show.

Getting to meet the actors was not as scary as I thought it was going to be. I guess it is because before I officially met them they did a Q&A which was really cool. Each actor came on stage separately which was nice because we got a full hour to learn about them. I did ask Bronson if he would like to play a vampire as a role and he sad yes which was really cool. Peter Facinelli was really nice, he talked to the crowd, gave hugs, came out into the audience and let them ask their own questions directly to him. He even had us do the wave because he heard that when Christopher Heyerdahl came in he got a standing ovation.

It was really cool meeting Bronson because he is my favorite wolf, Jared. I think my mom thought I was going to have a heart attack when he came into the room to do his Q&A. Meeting Jodelle Ferland was awesome because she is Bree Tanner.  I read the book The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella which I loved, a big thanks to Stephenie Meyer for writing it. Keep on reading because I will have another post coming up talking all about the Hillywood cast and what it was like meeting them and all the other fun stuff that took place during the Convention.
