Junior Cadet Corps – Marine Corps Ball {Yellow}

03 Feb

For this week’s Project We theme we are supposed to share a photo or write about something that goes along with the color yellow. So for this post I edited a picture using Picnik of one of my friends and me at the Marine Corps Ball.  I am in the JCC program at school which stands for Junior Cadet Corps.  Some of the Cadets got to go to the Marine Corps Ball last Friday in Dallas, Texas at W.T. White High School.  It was a lot of fun!  We ate dinner and danced.  Best part was we didn’t have to be in uniform.  I truly enjoy JCC.  We even got to see my teacher act goofy and dance, which you don’t see every day.

Sweet

25 Jan

Kylii, They Call Me T, cousins, babies, toddlers, kiss, sweet, love

For this week’s Project We the subject is “Sweet”.  This theme is a really easy one for me because my baby cousin stayed the night Monday night.  She is the cutest little thing in the world.  I love her to death.  When it was bed time for her I laid down by her and she gave me kisses.  I also tried to get her to say Panga but she did not have much interest in it.  She would rather try to get my gum as you can see in the short video below.  We had fun and I was able to get her to say my name just once, finally.

Winter

17 Jan

Well it didn’t snow this year but last year we got 12 inches of snow in winter around Christmas. That was a really fun time because we got to make snow angels a snowman and have snow ball fights.  That was the first time I got to make a snowman and the funny thing was, we used dog food for a mouth, eyes and nose.

Trees are starting to fall What the snow did to the tree in our back yard.

T is building a snowman Me building my snowman.

So Happy Gabby making a snow angel.

Her Snowman Fell Me on top of the bottom of the snowman after it fell over :( so sad.

All in all it was a really good and cold day that I wish would have never ended.

Smiles – Project We

14 Jan

This weeks subject is “Smiles” for Project We. I had a lot of pictures to pick through but I think I picked just the right ones for this post. The focus of this post is my family.  I love them and have found a ton of great photos to share with you.

My New Converse

06 Jan

So for Christmas I got some money and with that I bought myself some new shoes. My gorgeous Converse black high tops with one purple shoe string and one white I love how they don’t match, it’s cool that way…  The brand All Star is the best ever and the shoes are so comfortable to walk in for long periods of time. I have never had high tops before and I love them better than the others.  I got mine at the Converse store in San Marcos, Texas on our road-trip home from Sea World in San Antonio. My cousin Destinie got some Converse the same time I did but she got purple high tops instead of black ones.

My mom and I have decided to join Project We, a blogging project where we will each blog on a different theme once a week during 2011.  This week’s theme was ‘new‘ which is why I decided to share a photo of my new shoes.
