Hollywood Walk of Fame

01 Feb

Yesterday I got to go see the Hollywood Walk of Fame for the very first time ever! I got to put my feet in the stars foot prints! The best thing about that is that I got to put my feet and hands in the prints of Robert Pattinson and Emma Watson! My mom got to put her hands in the prints of the Twilight cast when she was here for the Breaking Dawn Part 2 premiere and I have wanted to do it since I saw the pictures.

I also got to see the Hollywood sign which is on my life list! I was really excited to get to see it but I was sad because we didn’t realize that they don’t let you go up the mountain after sunset so we didn’t get to see it up close.

Become a heart surgeon

06 Mar

Becoming a heart surgeon is number 15 on my life list. This is something that I have always wanted to do my whole life, but now as I get older it has changed some. I still want to be a heart surgeon, but now I want to be a surgeon in the Marines. The reason is because I think I could do more being a Surgeon in the Marines than just being a surgeon at a hospital. I want to be in the Marines and serve for our country but I want to do it by helping the men and women who are fighting for it. Being in JCC {Junior Cadet Corps} has really opened up a whole new path for me to take. I don’t think I could ever fight in the war, but being a surgeon is good enough for me.

Do you know anyone in the Marines? Or are you a Veteran? I would love to know.

Become a Camp Counselor

27 Feb

Become a camp counselor at El Tesoro is number 12 on my life list and a very important one to me. I love camp El Tesoro, it is the best camp ever. I go almost every summer for one full week. It is so fun because you get to do all kinds of adventurous things and each week of the summer they have different themes. I have painted horses, went horse back riding, row in a boat, gone fishing, learned camp fire songs and had a blast while attending camp.

I think it would be the coolest thing to be a camp counselor because when you are a kid you always have a blast. When I get to that age when I can no longer go to camp as a camper I want to be a counselor and make kids’ summers the best ever just like my old counselors did for me.

The two pictures below are really old pictures of me at camp.

My first year at camp in 2004 when I was not quite 7 years old.

Me at camp during Birthday Bash week in 2008.  I was almost 11 in this photo.

GOING TO FORKS, WA

03 Aug

Twilight: Forks, WA albumFor my birthday present I received a Twilight scrapbook and inside was plane tickets to go to Forks, Washington.  I get to stay in the Cullen house which is a big deal to me because I am team Edward and I love Vampires. I leave on the 12th of this month, August. The plane ride will take 4 hours to get there (yikes).  I am counting down the days until I get to go.  It is such a big deal for me since I’m a huge Twilight fan.  I can not wait because we get to take a tour of the town and we get to go down to La Push as well. When I found out that I was going to Forks, WA I started crying because I was so happy.  I wrote a post on how I wanted to go to Forks since it is on my life list.

How to save kids in Ghana

15 May

In one of my past posts I shared about my Life List item, saving a kid in Ghana, Africa by taking part in The Mercy Project but I didn’t explain how it’s done. In order to save a child out of slavery you must trade supplies for them. The Mercy Project does not buy the kids to own them, instead they trade supplies to free the child and then put them up for adoption. The Mercy Project also collects donations on their website in order to build houses to shelter the saved children.

My personal goal is to travel to Ghana, Africa and personally trade supplies to help save at least one child to put up for adoption to find a good home when I’m 19 years old. After I finish college and medical school then I want to adopt a child myself.

If you want to help then visit The Mercy Project’s website and donate any amount helps. It’s a very sad and happy story all in one.

Number 7 on life list

12 May

Number 7 on my life list is that I want to go to Forks, Washington which is where they film the Twilight saga. I want to go there because that would be an once in a life time thing. Eclipse comes out June 30 and it would be cool to go see
it when it comes out in Forks. I want to go and see the school and the Cullen’s house. I would love to see Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) if he is there when/if I get to go.
