Forever By: Maggie Stiefvater

Forever By: Maggie Stiefvater is the last book in the Wolves of Mercy Falls trilogy. I was sad when I started reading the book because I didn’t want it to end. Maggie did a great job completing the trilogy by bringing the whole story together.

I will admit that I did cry in some parts of the book. (Yes I’m a sap when it comes to sad parts in books and movies.) The beginning was emotional to read because Grace kept forming back to human for only minutes and it was never long enough for Sam to see her.

At one point Grace was in wolf form and she got trapped in the lake. Sam was in the woods at the time with Cole when he heard a wolf howling and whining in pain so he went to save it, finding out that the wolf was Grace. When he got her out he took her back to his house and locked her in his bathroom until she turned back to human form.

I like the character Cole because he figured out how to make a wolf turn back human even in the winter. My favorite part in the book is when Cole turned Beck, Sam’s step father, back to human form since he was also a wolf like Grace in order to get answers. It was really sad because Beck could only turn human once and it only lasted a few minutes.

One character that I don’t like is Tom Culpeper. Tom shot Sam in the first book and tries to have all the wolves killed in this one.

Will Grace stay a wolf? Will Sam stay a human? Will they save the wolves from the town? Find out what happens in Forever.

Forgotten is a new book that I just finished reading. This is a great book in my opinion. The main character is London Lane, a 16 years old girl and she is special. Every night when she goes to bed she forgets the day before .  Each night before she goes to bed she writes herself a note about what happened that day that she needs to remember. Not only can London not remember her past but she also sees her future in her dreams.  If all that is not hard enough to deal with now she has to deal with a boyfriend that she can’t remember.

Her boyfriend Luke is the best… super cute and sweet but he has a secret. He knows that London forgets the past and doesn’t admit it to her until London leaves all her notes out and he finds them. It turns out that London told Luke about her secret at a YMCA summer day camp when she was younger and they first met. Because of her lack of knowledge of the past London could not recall the event. With Luke knowing her secret London starts having disturbing visions she can’t make sense of, and that is when she decides that it is time to find out more about her past.

Friday I posted a parody of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows by The Hillywood Show. Well if you liked that one then you are going to love this video. In this video Harry and Ron are making fun of Umbridge. It is just hilarious some of the stuff that they create. I hope that you like this video just as much as I do.

The Hillywood Show has done it again and now it is with Harry Potter! In the video it is making fun of the song “Friday” By: Rebeca Black. It is recreating part one of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows while also talking about getting ready to go see part two. Harry Potter Deathly Hallows: Part Two came out at theaters at midnight of last night.

The parody is really funny I hope you enjoy it just as much as my mom and I did.

The latest book I just finished reading was, Abandon By Meg Cabot. I’m in love with it! What really hooked me in this book is that it is a modern story of the myth about Persephone and I love Greek myths. I had just finished reading the story of Persephone in class. I finished the book in less than two days, it was one of the best books I have ever read. 

Pierce is one the main characters in the book. Two years ago she died by hitting her head after a fall causing her to slip into her pool and drown. However, she came back to life. What did she see when she was dead? A light.

She went to the place that you visit before your final destination. There she runs into a guy that she met when she was a kid at her grandfather’s funeral. She soon finds out that his name is John and he is in charge of the ‘between’. John took Pierce to the place he lives and told her that she would be stuck there forever, but she escaped. John continues to show up when she least expects it.

After Pierce moves the worst starts happening… She finds out that John is in love with her and that she is falling in love with him just as much. But does that come with a price? Find out by reading Abandon!

I told you all about Twilight and now its time for New Moon. Honestly the book made me want to cry in some parts because my favorite character and vampire, Edward Cullen, leaves Bella because he thinks it’s for her own safety. Leaving was the worst thing he could ever do. When Edward leaves, Bella goes into this sort of depressed state and she is in it for months. When she snaps out of it she finds out that she can hear Edward’s voice if she does stupid and reckless stuff.

Bella goes to her old friend, Jacob Black, who happens to be good at working on motorcycles. She takes him two motorcycles to fix up so they can ride together. This is one of her reckless acts to see Edward. But even though Edward is gone he is not the only person with a dark secret. Bella soon finds out that Jacob is a werewolf. The reason the werewolves have been changing again is because vampires are their enemies. Soon Bella finds that out.

When Bella decides that riding motorcycles is not enough to see Edward she goes cliff diving. Edwards vampire sister, Alice, can see visions of the future and she sees Bella jump off the cliff but believes that Bella is trying to kill herself. Alice tells Rosalie about what she saw in her vision and Rosalie tells Edward that Bella is dead. Edward decides that if Bella is dead then he wants to be as well, so he goes to the Volturi and asks them to kill him.

When Alice sees that the Volturi won’t voluntarily kill Edward and that he plans to make them mad enough so that they will, she goes back to Forks, Washington to tell Bella to stop him. When Bella finds out what is going on she goes to help which makes Jacob mad since he is in love with her and she is choosing Edward, his enemy. Bella arrives in Italy just in time to stop Edward right before he shows himself in the sun to humans.

The Cullens and Bella are made to meet with the Volturi who want to kill Bella because she knows too much about vampires. Alice promises them that Bella will be changed into a vampire very soon. Of course after they get back home Edward says that he will not let Bella be turned so she calls it to a vote with the whole Cullen family and of course they choose to turn her in order to save Edward.

Now the only problem is the treaty with the werewolves. If the Cullens turn Bella they break the treaty to not bite a human and that means war. Jacob tells Bella that he will not let her be changed into a vampire. If she does he will be forced to kill her. At the very end Edward asks Bella TO MARRY HIM!!! Will she say yes or will she say no???
