I got a Nook which is a Barnes & Nobel brand of an electronic reader. It is an early birthday present because I could not wait until next month to get it. I had to have it now because I am a book alcoholic and I did not want to buy paper books any more if I was going to get the Nook. So now I have it and I love it, it is perfect for me since it takes seconds to download books. It is touch screen and colorized. I got a free $50 gift card to buy ebooks because I bought it the week Best Buy was having a special. I have read a total of 4 books on my Nook so far and it is great! I also love the feature on it that allows you to keep the books that you have read but you can archive them so you don’t have to go through them to get a book in your library. The Nook holds a really good charge.  Mine went a full week without having to be charged.

Do you own a Nook or another electronic reader?  What is your favorite feature and what books do you read? Share with me in the comments.

Miley Cyrus ‘Can’t Be Tamed’ is one of my favorite songs by her. It is her first song that is not with Disney and it is my favorite. I love the costumes and the effects in the video are so different which I love that.

Winter’s Passage By Julie Kagawa

08 Jun

I read the ebook Winters Passage by Julie Kagawa. The book has faeries and wolves in it. Meghan Chase, the main character, is half-fey—a faery princess. She is on her way to fulfill her promise to return to the Winter Court. I loved the ebook so much that I plan to go and buy the book Iron King to read. You can read the first three chapters on the website, just click on the link The Iron King. I read the first three chapters of Iron King and I loved how Julie Kagawa put such detail into the book that it was so vivid in my mind that it seemed almost real. I enjoyed reading the story from Meghan’s eyes because she is so different I find her intriguing. I am sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for my mom to take me to buy the book.

Full Disclosure: My mom received the complementary ebook, Winters Passage, for review purposes; although all opinions in this blog post are 100% mine.
